What We Collect

We collect the following data depending on how you interact with our site:

  • Contact form: Name, email, company (optional), and message when you reach out via our support page.
  • Newsletter: Email address when you subscribe to updates.
  • Product downloads: Email address when you request a free product download. Download emails are sent via Resend, our email delivery service.
  • Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage data as described below.

Analytics

We run a self-hosted, privacy-first analytics system. It is designed to give us basic traffic insights without compromising your privacy.

  • No cookies. We do not set any tracking cookies or use browser storage for analytics.
  • No persistent identifiers. Visitor and session IDs are generated using a one-way hash that includes a daily rotating salt. The salt is deleted every 24 hours, making it impossible to track a visitor across days.
  • No fingerprinting. We do not use canvas fingerprinting, font enumeration, or any other browser fingerprinting technique.
  • No cross-site tracking. Analytics data is scoped entirely to nxsi.io.
  • Do Not Track. We respect the Do Not Track browser setting. If enabled, no analytics data is collected.

The data we collect includes: pages visited, referrer URL, screen size, browser and OS type, country (derived from request headers — your IP address is never stored), scroll depth, and time on page. This data is stored on our own servers and is never shared with or sold to third parties.

How We Use Your Data

  • Contact submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Newsletter emails are used solely to send you updates about nXsi content and products.
  • Download email addresses are used to deliver your product and provide support.
  • Analytics data is used to understand which content is useful and improve the site.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party.

Third-Party Services

Data Storage

Form submissions, subscriber data, and analytics are stored on our self-hosted servers. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service you requested. Analytics data is aggregated daily and raw event data is automatically purged on a rolling basis.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Third-party infrastructure providers (Vercel, Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing purposes. These are not used for tracking.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your data at any time.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter.
  • Opt out of analytics by enabling Do Not Track in your browser.
